This firewood calculator will tell you how many firewood bags you need based on the amount of wood that you have.
You can also input the expected sale price per bag of firewood to calculate the revenue that you can expect per cord of firewood
A true full cord of firewood is 128 cubic feet, or 4’x4’x8′ stacked. If the wood is split but not stacked the dimensions will be different as there is more space between each log when it’s not stacked. This calculator is based on each cord being stacked.
A face cord of wood is typically 4’x8’x16″ (HxLxD), so it’s about 1/3 of a full cord.
At St. Boniface Bag Company, we have 5 common firewood bag sizes, each suited for different size cuts and store a different amount of firewood. Ranging from 0.7-1.0 cubic feet.
